Gobleki Tepe Site during Gobleki Tepe Spiritual retreat

Mesopotamia Spiritual Retreat in Turkey

Sacred Travel to Göbekli Tepe | A Spiritual Pilgrimage in Şanlıurfa

Weavers of the Earth

Şanlıurfa, Türkiye | April 25 – 30, 2026

Walk the Lands Where Civilization First Dreamed

There are places on Earth that hold a deeper memory.

Places where stone, water, and sky still whisper ancient teachings.

Mesopotamia is one of them.

This journey is not a typical retreat.
It is a pilgrimage through sacred landscapes where the earliest temples were raised, where prophets walked, and where human consciousness first began to awaken.

Together we will travel through sacred waters, ancient caves, moon temples, and the oldest ritual sites on Earth, reconnecting with the deeper threads that bind humanity to the land.

This is a journey of remembrance.

A Sacred Journey Through the Birthplace of Civilization

Mesopotamia is known as the cradle of civilization — a region where spirituality, culture, and human consciousness first began to flourish.

This retreat takes place in Şanlıurfa, Turkey, a city deeply connected to sacred history and spiritual traditions.

Participants will walk through ancient landscapes where prophets, mystics, and early cultures once gathered in ritual and devotion.

Rather than simply visiting these places as tourists, we approach them as living sacred sites.

Highlights of the Mesopotamia Spiritual Retreat

During this 6-day retreat in Turkey, participants will experience:

• Guided visits to Göbekli Tepe, the world’s oldest temple complex
• Exploration of Karahantepe and other ancient ritual sites
• Silent meditation at the Cave of Abraham in Şanlıurfa
• Sacred water ceremony at Balıklıgöl
• Boat journey and ritual on the Euphrates River
• Individual limpia spiritual cleansing ceremony
• Cacao ceremony and intention setting
• Integration circles and group meditation
• Traditional Turkish hammam purification ritual

These experiences create a powerful container for reflection, spiritual growth, and connection with ancient wisdom traditions.

Sacred Sites We Will Visit

Göbekli Tepe Retreat Experience

Göbekli Tepe is the oldest known temple complex in the world, dating back more than 11,000 years.

These monumental stone pillars reveal that organized spiritual practice existed long before agriculture and cities.

Meditating among these ancient structures offers a rare opportunity to connect with one of humanity’s earliest sacred spaces.

Karahantepe & Soğmatar

Karahantepe is another remarkable prehistoric ritual site connected to the same cultural landscape as Göbekli Tepe.

Nearby Soğmatar, known for its moon temples and caves, carries deep connections to ancient cosmic traditions and lunar worship.

Balıklıgöl – Sacred Pool of Abraham

Balıklıgöl is one of the most sacred places in Şanlıurfa.

According to legend, when Prophet Abraham was thrown into a fire by King Nimrod, the flames turned into water and the burning wood into sacred fish.

Today the site symbolizes faith, protection, and spiritual transformation.

Halfeti & The Black Rose

In the land where the rare black rose grows, we work with the archetype of shadow and transformation.

A boat journey along the Euphrates River invites reflection on time, flow, and surrender.
